What we collect and why
Quote and tender requests. When you request a quote or submit a tender, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, the site address you need security for, your cover requirements, and any message or documents you provide. We use this to prepare your quote, respond to your enquiry, and arrange services you request. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Correspondence. If you email or call us, we keep a record of the correspondence to handle your enquiry.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making with legal effects, and we do not sell your data.
AI-assisted features
Our quote form offers optional AI assistance (for example, building a cover schedule from a written description). Text you enter into these features is processed by Anthropic (Claude API) to generate the result. Please don’t include sensitive personal information in these fields.
Who we share data with
We use trusted service providers to operate our website and communications, acting as processors on our behalf:
- Kinsta — website hosting (London, UK data centre)
- Cloudflare — network services, email routing and form processing
- Twilio SendGrid — sending quote and notification emails
- Google — address autocomplete (Google Maps Platform) on our quote form
- Anthropic — optional AI-assisted features
Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry and quote data is kept for up to 24 months from last contact so we can follow up and honour quoted terms, unless you become a client (in which case data is retained for the duration of the engagement and as required by law) or ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to data portability. To exercise any right, email admin@securicoguards.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum. Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Strictly necessary items (such as remembering your cookie choice) are used without consent as permitted by law. Our quote form’s address search uses Google Maps Platform, which may set functional cookies when you use it — see the cookie banner to manage your preference.

We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version will always be on this page.
